People have been asking about my baby, I was a DSLR holder.
But I have a confession after carrying it every where for more than 3 years.
I love my Canon 500D, still loving it.
but,
it is heavy. period.
Carrying the DSLR everywhere I go is rather tiring and there are times when I was ran out of energy after a long journey, I am so lazy and reluctant to take photo graphs. My bad.
I planned to find a new parent to take care of it, and so my brother picked it up as a new hobby.
Having a new baby, Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX-1, is truly another divine gift from God.
16 Megapixel, Sharp, Clear, Vibrant, Splendid.
My love for it grows everyday.
and after all things,its lightweight.
Mostly, I paired it with the 14mm pancake lens, but occasionally with the normal 14mm-42mm Zoom Lens. The lens come with the camera body in a kit, even though they are not compatible with the expensive Macro lens or Telephoto lens, but if you're a casual photographer which ask for decent photographs with a tinge of 'WOW!', I believe together they serve you right!
The first week with my new love.
The portraits that the 14mm gives are beyond my expectations.
Lens flares that always made my day brighter. :)
Silhouettes are marvelous too!
To be frank, it wasn't my first choice as I've been yearning for the old traditional GF-1 so badly.
I was so discouraged that I couldn't find a good deal for GF-1 in Malaysia.
However, as I read through the reviews in the web, the so-called successor of GF-1, the DMC-GX-1 has impressed me in its fast auto-focus and ISO performance, however the touch panel isn't satisfying.
It doesn't give a plus point to the camera anyway.
Last but not least,
Enjoy your photography journey and Smile!
